PLAIN PATSO

Patso is what happens when french fries go inside the bread instead of beside it — simple, and people are surprisingly devoted to it. It is the most affordable item on our menu by design: we made it for students, for anyone wanting something quick, and for holding you over before dinner.
The fries are cooked to order rather than pulled from a batch sitting under a lamp, which is the whole secret to the crunch. They go into the bread hot, with ketchup and mayonnaise added inside. In its plain form it contains no meat, so it works for vegetarian guests.
If you want something more filling, look at the cheddar or sausage-and-cheddar versions. But do try the classic first — most of our regulars order it once out of curiosity and then keep coming back to it.
