ONION RINGS

Onion rings are the most affordable item on the menu. We batter them ourselves rather than using ready-made frozen rings.

The difference shows when they are fried: with ready-made rings the coating often separates from the onion, leaving you holding an empty crisp tube. Battered by hand, the onion stays inside the coating and the two come away together when you bite. The onion sweetens as it cooks.

They are fried to order. Good on their own as a snack, or alongside a beer. If you want them together with fries, the Beer Basket has both, plus sausage.
